TEHRAN (IQNA) – A group of Iraqi teenagers and youths are in Iran to attend a specialized Quran memorization course.

The group, comprising 30 men and 10 women, have travelled to the southern Iranian province of Fars to learn the Quran by heart at Bait-ul-Ahzan Institute.

They will stay in Iran for a year to complete the Quran memorization course, according to IRIB News.

Another group of Iraqis had taken the course at the institute last year, 14 of whom managed to memorize the Quran in one year.

Those taking the course attend memorization classes in two age groups of 14 to 22 and 23 and older.

They will attend a provisional period before taking an exam and if they pass it, they can take the main memorization course.
